A story about enhancing soccer performance

Challenge:

A soccer organization struggled with generic tools and inefficient, time-consuming data processes. Their data analysis workflows were unclear, resulting in limited visibility and utilization of performance data. They lacked the capacity and expertise for live performance analysis and deep analytics, hindering their ability to make data-driven decisions effectively.

Solution:

We focused on implementing performance KPIs by developing five custom metrics tailored to the organization's needs. Clear data analysis workflows were established for post-game, opposition, and player analysis, ensuring systematic data collection and processing. Additionally, we created customized analytics reports to provide actionable insights for better decision-making.

To complete the solution, we built multiple customized dashboards that enhanced the visibility and traceability of key processes. These dashboards consolidated data from various sources, allowing real-time monitoring and performance tracking. We also developed three custom metrics using tracking data, offering a more precise analysis of movements and patterns.

Results:

We developed a custom web and mobile application for live performance analysis, particularly useful during the Qatar World Cup. This application enabled real-time data collection and analysis, giving the organization a competitive edge. With user-friendly interfaces and robust functionalities, the app provided seamless access to performance data anytime, anywhere, transforming the organization’s data capabilities and setting a new standard for performance analysis.
